Hello American Sheep Industry National Convention! We’ve partnered with BBC Destination Management just for you.
Recently, our team at Great Delta Tours had the chance to partner with BBC Destination Management Company to host a customized ecotour for the American Sheep Industry (ASI) National Convention in New Orleans, Louisiana. Of course we jumped at the opportunity!
During the tour, we had a special chance to speak with local oyster fisherman Don Robin, who was unloading fresh oysters in Yscloskey, LA – America’s Oyster Capital. This is the type of immersive experience that our tours are known for – so it was a wonderful geek out session where the group loved diving into discussion.
While we were out, we had a special lunch of the freshest, most delicious shrimp poboys from St. Bernard’s “Today’s Ketch” at the Meraux Foundation‘s historic Docville Farm. While we were on site, ASI presented a check for $1,000 for St. Bernard’s critical coastal restoration efforts!
This tour was truly a memorable, worthwhile experience and we loved creating a special outing with BBC Destination Management just for ASI.
